CITRANS Materials Division Hosts Symposium-October 2024
“Photoactive Materials and Devices for Energy Storage and Beyond” at the Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS) Fall 2024 in Atlanta, GA (October 23rd – 25th).
Students and faculty from across the southeastern U.S. gathered at SERMACS 2024 in Atlanta, GA, to present on a wide range of chemistry and materials science topics focused on innovative strategies for harnessing and storing solar energy. The event featured oral presentations and poster sessions covering areas such as photocatalysis, redox flow batteries, advanced light-absorbing materials and devices, and emerging semiconductor materials. The full day of talks and several poster symposia were well-attended, providing participants with valuable insights into the ongoing research and efforts of the CITRANS Materials Division Center at UNC Charlotte
